Truchas is on the High Road to Taos.  Its adobe church is ancient and well-loved by the community.  Catherine Maziere’s pin of Trampas is asymmetrical, with a mighty tower on one side, and a low banco at the base. It is an inch and a half wide (3.5 cm.).
