Handcrafted in Germany since 1928, Christian Ulbricht's father founded the company "Otto Ulbricht" - ("Workshops for fine wooden crafts and toys"). A gold medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1937 was awarded for his designs of children's room clocks and a group of Kurrende singers. World War II forced the company to close and move to West Germany, but 50 years later the family would return to buy the original company in Seiffen. Now, the spirit of Christmas is alive in every unique handmade item, now as then.
