Dream Catcher Ornament

The artist, Patricia Pacheco,  lives at Laguna Pueblo. Her mother is Laguna but her father was Chippewa. They met at school. The Chippewa culture is the original source of Dream Catchers. Patricia gathers red willow to make the hoops, which is nicer than a metal hoop, and then weaves the web inside the hoop with beads. She adds feathers as a finishing touch. They vary in size, but a typical Dream Catcher by Patricia is 3 1/2 inches in diameter (8 cm.)..
