Bisque Fired Nativity

This simple, unpainted pottery nativity from Peru has a charm of its own. Part of the charm is the variation in color due to its outdoor firing. The other part of the charm are the faces. Baby Jesus is molded into his bed. There are three wise men, four animals, and two peasants. The tallest figure is four and a quarter inch tall (11 cm.)
