Frank Van Deren Coke was a famous photographer, museum director, author and professor. He was Susan’s favorite art history professor when she attended the University of New Mexico in the 1960’s. He was married to Joan Gilberry Coke, who collected nativities as she and her husband traveled the world. Now the husband and wife are both deceased, and their daughter is selling their nativity collection. These nativities were collected between the 1960’s and 2000. This is a remarkable collection. A few nativities await the care of our expert restorer and will be added to the website in July of 2025.
