Christmas in Santa Fe by Susan Topp Weber describes the Christmas season in Northern New Mexico, beginning with Thanksgiving weekend, continuing through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and ending with "Kings' Day", January 6th. Susan was asked to write this book because of her knowledge and love of the subject. Susan has experienced 10% of Santa Fe's 400 Christmas seasons and has owned Susan's Christmas Shop in Santa Fe since 1978. Her personal friend, Tomie de Paola, wrote the foreword, and one of his illustrations from The Night of Las Posadas is in the book. Christmas in Santa Fe is a hard cover book, measuring eight and a half inches by eight and a half inches. It is 96 pages long, with more than eighty carefully selected color photographs and eight vintage black and white photographs. The Christmas customs unique to New Mexico are fascinating. The Spanish Colonial era, the 19th century contributions, and the 20th century innovations are all discussed. Christmas events inside and outside the city limits are described, and contact information for all of them are inside the covers of this very special book. It will become a family reference book and a wonderful gift for all who love "The Land of Enchantment", especially at Christmas. Susan will autograph to your specifications all the books she sells in the shop or on her web-site. Be sure to get all you need of the signed first edition before it sells out. It's going fast!
P.S. Let Susan know if you think a translated edition in German, French and Spanish would be useful.
