Since 1978, Susan's charming location is an historic adobe room a half block east of the plaza on Palace Avenue, right next to The Shed, a favorite local restaurant. Susan's Christmas is often the very first place return visitors to Santa Fe come to.
Susan's hottest item is her best selling book, Christmas in Santa Fe. The first edition sold out quickly. Susan sold 2400 copies herself. Many customers bought one copy, took it home to read, and returned to buy a stack of them. One customer bought 29 copies. The Revised and Expanded Christmas in Santa Fe is even better, with eight more pages and nine new photos. The one of Acoma Pueblo on Christmas Eve is breathtaking.
